Kayn is the 7-12 Choir Director, Piano Instructor, and Junior High Popular Music Lab Instructor at Marysville Jr./Sr. High School and is incredibly passionate about music. He holds his Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Kansas, where served as a member of the Marching Band, Men's and Women's Basketball Band, Volleyball Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and the local chapter of Phi Mu Alpha, an all-men's music fraternity. From a young age, he was involved in music and loved sharing the beauty and power of music. He is currently in his 2nd year of teaching and has already had great success with providing his students good fundamental musicianship skills, and life-long collaboration skills. He has an enormous passion for developing positive relationships with students and pushing those students to continually be their best, no matter the setbacks they may face.
